What you’d pay at a lawyer’s office.
These prices come from public attorney fee surveys and Avvo listings. Pike isn’t a substitute for an attorney where one is needed — it’s the right tool for the standardized stuff that doesn’t need one.
Common questions.
Is Pike a lawyer?
No. Pike is a self-help legal information tool. We give you information about laws and forms, not legal advice tailored to your situation. For matters with real money, custody, or freedom on the line, talk to a licensed attorney.
Are these documents valid in my state?
The body of these documents (Will, HCD, HIPAA, LLC OA, etc.) follows widely accepted standards. The execution — who must sign, witness, or notarize — varies by state. Each generated draft includes the standard execution block plus a 'have a probate attorney review' pointer. If you live in Louisiana, please consult an attorney for your Will.
What about the IRS forms?
W-9, W-4, SS-4, etc. are official IRS PDFs. Pike fills the values for you in a markdown summary; you copy them onto the actual government form (we link the official source on every draft). We're working on direct AcroForm fill in a later release.
Plus vs Pro vs a-la-carte?
Pike Plus ($15.99/mo or $159.99/yr) bundles every standardized fill-in-the-blank pack — Will, HCD, HIPAA, LLC OAs, settlement letters, etc. Pike Pro ($49.99/mo) unlocks every pack including premium add-ons and every new pack the day it ships. A-la-carte ($9–$39/pack) is for one-off buyers who don't want a subscription. Free packs are free for everyone, no signup required.
Can I cancel?
Whenever you want. You keep every document you've already drafted in your library.
What happens to my data?
Drafts live in your account. You can delete them any time. We never share or sell your data, and Pike's chat content is end-of-conversation memory only — see the privacy policy for the full breakdown.
